For Newcomers

General Information

  1. Go to https://www.ivao.aero/members/person/register.htm
  2. Read the membership information then click continue.
  3. Enter your account details. Do not use fake names or wrong age otherwise the account will get suspended.
  4. For Division select North America Region. This includes United States, Canada, and Bahamas.
  5. After selecting Register you will get your IVAO VID and password emailed.
  6. If you are interested in air traffic control please follow this guide: https://xa.ivao.aero/new-atc-step1/
  7. If you are interested in flying please follow these guides:
    1. Filing a flightplan via SimBrief.com on IVAO.
    2. Installing pilot client

Note: Do not create duplicate accounts – such will be suspended automatically. If you lost access please follow Retrieve lost password/account guide.

Lost password

  1. Go to the Request Password form.
  2. Enter your VID.
  3. Select Send Password.

Lost VID or email

  1. Send an email to members@ivao.aero
  2. Include your full name and (if possible) email during registration.
  3. Explain your situation and IVAO staff will send you your login information.
