Welcome back, Canada and the United States!


On Sunday 12th May 2024, the North America Region was seperated into its original format of two Divisions. We are pleased to welcome back both the Canadian and United States Divisions to our network.

Members who were originally based in the North America Region (XA) will be automatically transferred to the United States (US) Division. Those members who wish to transfer to the Canadian (CA) Division can do so using the standard divisional transfer procedure.

Frequently Asked Questions

I was a member of the North America Region, do I need to take any action?

All members who were previously in the North America Region will be automatically transferred to the re-opened United States Division. If you wish to remain in this Division then no action is required. If you wish to transfer to the Canadian Division, you should do so following the standard divisional transfer procedure.

I held Guest Controller Approval for the North America Region, is this still valid?

Any member who held a Guest Controller Approval (GCA) in the North America Region will automatically have this transferred to the United States Division. Should you wish to attain a Gueat Controller Approval for Canada, you should email the Divisional Training Team: ca-training[at]ivao.aero.

Will the Award and/or Divisional Tour I was partaking in still exist?

Fear not, your progress has not been lost! All Divisional Awards and Tours which you had progressed with have been transferred the United States Division and you will be able to continue your progress with them. Don't forget to check out what the awards and tours that IVAO Canada also has to offer!
