Event time: 19:00z-22:00z
Event type: Fly-in.

The IVAO Events Department is pleased to present a classical “Dangerous” Approach, with our event in cooperation with the Dutch Caribbean Division, Fly-in to TNCM.

The Princess Juliana International Airport (IATA: SXM, ICAO: TNCM) is the international airport of Sint Maarten, an island in the Lesser Antilles. It is the largest and busiest airport in Sint Maarten, and is the third busiest airport in the Caribbean, after Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Punta Cana International Airport in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The airport is located near the city of Philipsburg, on the northwest coast of the island. It has a runway of 7,500 feet (2,286 m) and can handle aircraft up to 250 passengers.

The airport is known for its location near Maho Beach, where tourists can watch planes land and take off just a few meters away. This is a popular tourist attraction, but it is also important to be aware of the dangers of being near the runway.

The airport offers a variety of services, including car rental, taxis, buses, and restaurants. There is also a duty-free zone at the airport.

The Princess Juliana Airport is a popular gateway to Sint Maarten and the Caribbean. It is a well-managed and efficient airport, and offers a variety of services for passengers.

We invite you to join us on 10th of September 2023 to fly-in Saint Marteen!
